Mark Sixel believes in the hands-on approach. Even as the President of Sixel Consulting Group, he works directly with communities. He spends the time it takes to learn about a client’s needs, and to develop solutions to each client’s specific set of challenges. Mark never contracts-out work. He takes pride in the personal relationships that he develops with individual community members, through this hands-on air service development process.
The culture at Sixel Consulting Group is different. Our clients know each of us by our first names. We build each project on the foundation of personal relationships. We believe in listening first.
Mark is our primary analyst, strategist, and presenter. Mark’s support staff consists of an analyst, a research specialist, a technical specialist, and a previous airline employee and travel consultant. Mark also partners with a marketing consultant to assist with various airport marketing and advertising projects.
We, at Sixel Consulting Group, are unrelenting in our efforts to keep operating costs low. We believe in offering tremendous value, at the most reasonable rates, when compared to our competitors.
Over the past 11 years Sixel Consulting Group has worked to analyze, recruit and negotiate with a number of US airlines – majors, nationals, and regionals. We have always seen ourselves as a “broker” between an airport seeking service for its constituents and airlines seeking opportunity for their limited supply of aircraft. It is our responsibility to match those goals.
Our experience ranges from small airports, with little or no service, to large hub airports with service to all parts of the world. No matter the size of the community, we believe that there are always opportunities for growth. We helped Sandpoint, Idaho obtain Cessna Caravan service and, at the same time, we helped San Antonio, Texas obtain San Francisco service. We have worked with small carriers like Salmon Air, Big Sky Airlines, and Great Lakes Airlines while we have worked with large, worldwide carriers like American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. We have worked with low-cost carriers such as Allegiant Air and Frontier Airlines and full service international carriers such as US Airways and Northwest Airlines. All the while, we take time to remember that supply and demand must complement each other, for without appropriate levels of demand, supply diminishes. |
